Meaning of Colors
RED: The red color symbolizes communist revolution. Red is also the traditional color in chinese culture.
GOLDEN YELLOW: Is the official color of the Manchu dynasty and is very dear to chinese people. Yellow also implies that China belongs to the chinese people, "a yellow race".
YELLOW: The yellow was the noblest. Emperors and princes were the only ones entitled to use. This color used for the Chinese Dragon.
RED: This color symbolizes good luck, animation, progress and beauty. Everything positive.
WHITE: Is used as mourning and means extinction and purity. But also means bad luck.
GREEN: The green color in chinese culture and chinese Dragon means a prosperous harvest year.
RED and Yellow ballom means the sun.
In traditional chinese art and culture, black, red, quing (a conflation of the idea of green and blue), white and yellow are viwed as standard colors.
